Purpose of the Position:

This position is responsible for fulfilment of production programs with defined KPI of Production, Quality, safety, Maintenance and finance through cost reduction, continuous improvement and productivity improvement etc. in assembly production. Control and monitor fulfilment of departmental KPI like volume, DOK at check points, Product Audit QK, productivity targets etc . Ensure New Project Planning and Implementation for Infrastructure, Manpower Planning, Project KPI monitoring at each stage. Changepoint implementation. Responsible for Compliance of VDA, QMS, EnMS, and EMS requirement in Production Area. Co-ordinate India 2.5, and BEV Project for implementing smooth Production Processes. To control and monitor fulfillment of KPis for individual centers Yard actions / Recovery and also strategize infra and activities relating to yard and Port activity. Plan and organize electrical expertise and infra required for Assembly Production, Finish Center, and Yard.

Key Responsibilities-

• Instructs and control process, guides, sub-ordinators for quality performance, Develop coordination with other Departments for smooth running of operations in area. Organization and Participation in level appropriate rounds and standard meetings. Participate in SFM and other production rounds
• Analyses critical production issues and highlights in management meetings
• Audits shop floor with Production coordinator, give suggestion for improvement of visual management
• Guides for sustenance of 100 % qualification of employees
• Advice for modern methods for efficient qualification like virtual trainings, analyze possible qualification gaps, and develop solutions with team.
• Approves the new process standards after verification before implementation
• Advice for new skills development of employees, Ensure safe work practices and legal safety compliances.
• Manages standard implementation and verifies in shop floor rounds, drive proactively the continuous improvement process in shop through KVP and best practices implementation.
• Suggest and Approve changes in standards
• Ensure implementation of QMS ISO 9001; ISO 14001 (Environment MS); VDA 6.3 Process audit; ISO 50001, ISO 45001:2018 Standard Occupational Health and Safety
• Responsible for the people of his shop for using PPEs
• Analyses the daily reports, take actions against recurring problems
• Authorized to give deviations to meet targets
• Advice for improvements in action plans if required
• Plans backup strategies key performance indicators, use strategic given KPIs, and develop operational KPIs which are understood by staff.
• Manages discipline in shop, develop strategies for de-escalation of conflicts, and prevention of misconduct
• Drive forums like Quick Kaizens, Idea managements, KVP and Problem solving workshops
• Defines and Control problem solving processes, necessary organizational steps, potential for future improvement, drive necessary projects
• Advices on Continuous Improvement Process; Efficiency Program and Idea Management
• Drive the process, distribute targets for workshop and idea Management, Do Investment Planning to maintain and build plant manpower and machinery capability. Plan for achievement of cost reduction targets.
• Decide implementation strategy and action plan for top 3 problems from production and maintenance
• Authorize implementation of ECN, Model year and new projects
• Authorize Rotation, allocation of workplaces, hiring/dismissal, transfer Check and give approval
• Decide appraisal score of production coordinator with management
• Decide the data required for qualification dialogue
