What were looking for

Were hiring a founding financial modelling expert whos ready to take a leap from power user to builder. This is not a typical finance role its a high-agency product/generalist seat where your financial modeling judgment becomes a company-wide standard and a market-facing edge.

You will be the person who defines:

• what correct means in a financial model,
• what great looks like in a client-ready output, and
• what we should build next to win customers.

Responsibilities

Own Quality

• Define what correct and client-ready financial modeling means at Superjoin.
• Turn that into a repeatable grading system
• Stress-test edge cases, codify best practices into guardrails

Guide the Product Roadmap

• Bridge finance reality and product execution: turn customer needs into buildable specs.
• Recommend where to invest: sector workflows, comps, scenario modeling, cap tables, valuation, sensitivity, reporting, etc.
• Partner with product team to shape how we structure the flows and experience.

Be a Market & Customer Guiding Light

• Speak customer language and represent what great looks like.
• Join founder-led sales calls to: diagnose requirements, build confidence, unblock adoption, and drive successful outcomes.
• Help craft GTM assets: demos, case studies, example models, playbooks making Superjoin the default choice for finance teams.

Must-haves

• 25 years professional financial modeling experience in IB / PE
• Deep Excel / Google Sheets expertise: formulas, architecture, best practices, model hygiene
• CFA Level 2 or higher (required)
• Strong ability to explain why methodology matters, not just the answer
• High ownership: you move fast, write clearly, and dont wait for instructions
• Can work full-time, in-office in Bangalore
