Finance Technology -Associate, Data & Enterprise Services

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Finance Technology (Associate, Data & Enterprise Services) to join their Mumbai-based technology delivery team supporting Finance, Treasury, and Enterprise Data functions . This individual will be a hands-on contributor focused on finance technology workflows including accounting data, general ledger processes, P&L and transaction reconciliations, treasury operations, and related data engineering tasks.

This role is ideal for a junior-to-mid level technical analyst or developer with strong SQL and data skills, and with an interest or experience in Finance IT systems such as ORACLE ERP, treasury management systems, or accounting platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

Support technology delivery across core Finance and Treasury domains.

Perform hands-on SQL development for financial data processing, reconciliations, validations, and reporting.

Work with accounting and treasury teams to gather requirements, analyze data issues, and support enhancements.

Support data integration, extracts, and transformations connected to Finance systems such as cash management and GL platforms.

Contribute to development and maintenance of financial reports, dashboards, and data quality controls.

Assist with testing cycles, documentation, and release processes for Finance IT initiatives.

Collaborate with global tech team members to ensure accurate, timely technical delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

5+ years of technology experience, preferably supporting Finance and Treasury systems.

Strong SQL skills (Snowflake, SQL Server, or equivalent) and familiarity with financial data structures.

Experience with Python for data processing, scripting, or workflow automation.

Experience with financial reconciliationsP&L, transaction, general ledger, or cash reconciliations.

Understanding of accounting concepts (general ledger, journal entries, balances, accruals).

Exposure to finance or treasury systems (ERP, TMS, fund accounting, or cash management tools).

Strong problem-solving ability, willingness to learn new technologies, and ability to self-study and upskill quickly.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite, particularly in Finance and Accounting modules.

Prior experience implementing or supporting ERP transformations or Finance system integrations.

Familiarity with enterprise data architectures, financial data models, and reporting solutions (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics).

Exposure to cloud environments (Azure/Snowflake).
