Key Responsibilities-

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory filings (GST, TDS, ROC, etc.).
• Oversee company accounts including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Financial Management & Accounting Supervise the accounts team and auditors, ensuring smooth financial operations and timely reporting.
• Supervise the bookkeeping, compliance, and reporting processes for Lucio's US-based subsidiary, ensuring adherence to both US and Indian regulations.
• Advice on structuring, transfer pricing and other aspects.
• Prepare financial forecasts, cash flow statements, and P&L reports to support business decisions. Budgeting & Financial Planning Implement cost control measures and optimize financial efficiency. Support fundraising, due diligence, and investor reporting.
• Provide financial insights to leadership on scalability, unit economics, and expansion strategies. Support senior management with financial decision-making, cash flow management, and bookkeeping.
• Offer corporate tax planning insights and work to optimize tax liabilities for both domestic and international operations.
• Supervise the preparation of the monthly Investor MIS and ensure accurate and timely reporting. Provide financial insights and support the leadership team on strategic decisions.
• Work closely with auditors and legal teams to maintain strong corporate governance.
• Assist with audit preparation and reporting to ensure all financial operations meet required standards. Advise on foreign exchange transactions and ensure compliance with RBI regulations.
• Implement financial controls to minimize risk and ensure smooth operations.
• Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.

• Collaborate directly with the Founders and leadership team on strategic financial decisions.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controllership roles.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of tax laws, financial compliance, and corporate finance.
• Cross-border experience with managing financial operations for both Indian and USbased entities is mandatory.
• Experience with SaaS startups or fast-growing companies is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Tally).
• Analytical mindset with excellent financial modeling and reporting skills.
• Experience with forex transactions and managing compliance with RBI regulations.
• Setting up systems and automations.
