MTOR Group is expanding its Academia-focused technical team and is looking for a highly motivatedField Application Scientist (FAS)to support researchers, faculty, and institutional customers across North India.

Role Overview

The Field Application Scientist (FAS) will act as the technical bridge between MTORs product portfolio and academic customers, providing pre-sales and post-sales application support, technical demonstrations, and scientific consultations.

Key Responsibilities

• Providepre-sales and post-sales application supportto academic and research institutions.
• Conductproduct demonstrations, trainings, workshops, and seminarsfor faculty, researchers, and students.
• Support the sales team withtechnical presentations, application discussions, and solution positioning.
• Assist customers inexperimental design, troubleshooting, and data interpretationrelated to MTORs product portfolio.
• Develop and deliverapplication notes, technical presentations, and scientific content.
• Stay updated onemerging technologies, research trends, and competitor offeringsin life sciences.
• Build strong relationships withkey opinion leaders (KOLs)and academic stakeholders across North India.
• Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support customers and channel partners.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry(mandatory).
• Strong hands-on experience withcore molecular biology and life sciences techniques.
• Excellentscientific communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear and practical manner.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

• Prior experience as aField Application Scientist, Application Specialist, or Postdoctoral Researcherwith customer-facing exposure.
• Familiarity with instruments, reagents, and workflows used inacademic and research laboratories.
• Willingness to travel acrossNorth India.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and customer-centric approach.
