Position Responsibilities:
- Identifies, analyzes, and assesses regulatory and contractual compliance of aerospace systems, products and services.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to define, validate, and integrate airworthiness and regulatory compliance requirements; incorporates into designs, operations, and procedures.
- Reviews regulatory and customer requirements and evaluates impact to company products and services.
- Analyzes regulatory and certification technical data for completeness and alignment to applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Develops compliance statements for the airworthiness of aerospace systems and products.
- Researches, investigates and monitors compliance processes or reported in-service fleet issues for achieving regulatory compliance and assists with implementing process improvements or correction actions.
- Supports engaging with regulators on moderately- complex programs or initiatives to shape certification approaches, activities, and artifacts.
- Supports partnering with regulatory authorities to complete validation of airworthiness to applicable requirements as authorized.
- Provides technical support, training, tools and resources to the delegated approval organization.
- Develops, reviews, and maintains compliance reports and documents in accordance with applicable requirements and regulations.
- Establishes and promotes global regulatory advocacy trainings, tools, and methods.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher is required as a Basic qualification.
- Working experience in airworthiness engineering and regulatory compliance within the aerospace industry.
- Working knowledge of airworthiness regulations and certification processes (e.g., FAR Part 23/25, CS-23/25, DO-178C, DO-254).
- Experience working with regulatory authorities such as FAA, EASA, or equivalent.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering and compliance management tools.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
Bachelors Engineering degree, Preferably Electronics/Aeronautical/Electrical / Systems Engineering with up to 8-12 years / Master's degree, with 6+ years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced certifications related to aerospace regulations or quality management.
- Experience with software and hardware certification standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).
- Experience with international regulatory frameworks and bilateral agreements.
- Project management experience.
- Be a self-starter, able to work independently with minimum supervision, positive attitude and highest ethics.
- Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.
- Must be able to effectively collaboratively with cross-functional team across the globe.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours (early or late as needed) to interface with Boeing personnel around the world.
- Demonstrate strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary to effectively interact with globally located colleagues and customers.
- Support engineering organizations and prepare data for engineering/program release.
- Review/enhance supplier statements of work for configuration management task.
