EXECUTIVE - COPY & CREATIVE STRATEGY

Work Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: Lead Creative Strategist


About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of creative thinking, writing craft and execution.

Working closely with the Lead Creative Strategist, you will develop copy, narratives and briefs that shape how ideas are expressed across platforms. The role requires both depth of thought and consistency of output translating intent and direction into material that enables high-quality creative execution.


Role Mandate:

Develop clear, compelling and on-brand written narratives and enable consistent creative output by translating ideas and direction into well-considered copy and execution-ready briefs.


What Youll Work On:

Copy and Content Development:

  • Develop marketing copy for campaigns, launches and ongoing communication
  • Own product copy for product pages and develop the master language for product features
  • Create long-form content such as blogs and articles
  • Develop social content including captions, scripts and community-facing copy
  • Write technical copy for user guides and installation manuals
  • Ensure all written output reflects intent, context and brand direction


Scripts, Storyboards and Briefing:

  • Develop scripts, storyboards and shot breakdowns for product overview and how-to-install videos
  • Conduct background research and develop scripts or question frameworks for podcasts and interviews
  • Create clear, thoughtful briefs with text copy for catalogs, product packaging, magazine ads and performance or digital ads
  • Author product decks and written narratives for trade media and dealer networks


Creative Enablement:

  • Act as a key owner for written creative output across formats
  • Translate creative direction into structured, usable material for designers, photographers, videographers and producers
  • Enable effective execution through clarity of intent and completeness of written inputs


How Youll Work:

  • Work closely with the Lead Creative Strategist as a collaborative partner on copy and narrative
  • Interpret creative direction and help sharpen ideas through writing and structure
  • Adapt tone and writing style based on platform, audience and objective
  • Be comfortable working within stated briefs, operational constraints and evolving inputs

Over time, success in this role will be reflected in:

  • Writing and narratives that feel clear, considered and aligned with brand intent
  • Creative teams being able to execute more effectively due to strong written direction
  • Reduced ambiguity during execution because context and intent are articulated well upfront
  • Growing trust from the Lead Creative Strategist in both thinking quality and reliability of output
