Equity Research Analyst

Role Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Equity Research Analyst to provide continuous coverage of assigned industry sectors and individual stocks across US and Global Markets . The role focuses on identifying alpha opportunities and investment risks , developing strong investment theses, and delivering high quality research insights to institutional clients .

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous coverage of assigned industry sectors and stocks
• Identify alpha-generating investment opportunities and key downside risks
• Conduct statistical and fundamental analysis of companies, financials, and market data
• Build, maintain, and validate financial models using advanced Excel
• Write and publish equity research reports including: Initiation of coverage, Earnings analysis, Industry updates
• Buy / Sell / Hold recommendations
• Track and analyze industry news, trends, corporate actions, and special situations
• Escalate material news/events as per internal protocols and respond promptly
• Communicate insights to institutional clients and internal stakeholders
• Participate in investor conference calls, earnings calls, and industry events
• Represent the firm at conferences and maintain a strong public research presence
• Build and maintain relationships with Investor Relations teams of covered companies (travel as required)
• Support brand building through research visibility and client engagement

Qualifications (Mandatory)

• CA / CFP / MBA Finance

Experience

• 24 years of front-office experience in: Equity Research, Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Sales & Trading
• Mandatory experience covering US and/or other Global Markets
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Advanced Excel for financial modeling (24 years)
• Bloomberg or similar financial data platforms
• Professional research writing and report publication
