Equity Research Analyst

About The Job

Key Purpose:

Real Estate Developing firm looking to hire a Equity Research Analyst to perform in-depth analysis of specific companies or sectors within the stock market, industry trends, and market conditions. The primary goal is to provide investment recommendations and insights. The role involves conducting Technical & fundamental Research, generating reports, and making informed forecasts for making sound investment decisions within the Equity Markets.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily technical analysis of major indexes such as Nifty & BankNifty and for individual stocks to identify trends.
• Expertise in utilizing technical analysis patterns and indicators for informed market assessments.
• Develop and backtest trading systems for performance evaluation.
• Analyze charts to formulate derivative strategies based on open interest and volume trends.
• Execute live market entry and exit decisions guided by rigorously tested strategies.
• Produce daily technical and fundamental reports
• Prepare weekly technical reports for individual stocks, assessing their market performance.

• Excellent MS Excel skills (including advanced excel)

What we are looking for?

• Masters or Bachelors Degree with minimum 2 years of prior experience
• Pursuing or cleared the CFA certification
• Prior experience in Equity Research

Skills Preferred:

• Proficient in company assessment and valuation
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in algorithm development and coding skills is advantageous.
• Proficient with excel and relevant data bases
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to learn
