Equity Research Analyst

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Equity Research Analyst based in Kolkata. The Equity Research Analyst will handle responsibilities including conducting detailed research on various investment opportunities, performing financial modeling, analyzing economic and financial data, and preparing reports to support investment decisions. The role involves staying updated on market trends, tracking sector and company-specific news, and providing actionable insights for the investment team.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial statements and market data, and assess industry trends.
• Proficiency in Financial Modeling and ability to build and analyze complex models.
• Solid foundation in Finance and Investments, with a good understanding of equity markets.
• Experience and proficiency in conducting Research to gather relevant financial and market insights.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver clear and concise investment reports.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel, Bloomberg, or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Educational background in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields. CFA certification is an added advantage.
