Job Description
Engineering Lead
Location: Gurugram (Hybrid/On-site)
Experience: 610+ years (flexible for exceptional candidates)
- Engineering lead must have built a FinTech SaaS platform before and led a team of developers
- Engineering lead must have excellent communication skills and be a team player
- Engineering lead must have an ownership type mindset and be willing to work long hours and on the weekends when necessary
- Architect and implement end-to-end features across backend and frontend
- Make pragmatic design decisions balancing speed with scalability and maintainability
- Build secure, reliable APIs and services with strong observability (logs/metrics/traces)
- Define engineering standards: testing strategy, code quality, CI/CD, and release discipline
- Partner with product/design to clarify requirements and ship in tight iterations
- Mentor engineers as the team grows; raise the bar through code reviews and technical leadership
- Own production outcomes: monitoring, incident response, performance and reliability improvements
- Build with quality-first habits to minimize QA effort (automation, testability, predictable releases)
