Engineering Manager MERN Stack

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead and scale a high-performing full-stack engineering team. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who blends strong technical depth in the MERN stack with proven people management experience.

As an Engineering Manager, you will define the technical vision, drive architecture decisions, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. You will work closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to deliver customer-centric solutions while fostering a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous learning.

Location: Bangalore / Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of full stack engineers (SDE1SDE3).
• Drive technical architecture and roadmap for MERN-based platforms.
• Design and scale high-traffic, distributed systems.
• Ensure best practices in CI/CD, code quality, testing, and deployments.
• Implement observability frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) for performance and cost.
• Manage technical debt and ensure long-term system health.
• Hire, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
• Advocate for secure coding practices (OWASP, GDPR compliance).

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 812 years of full-stack development experience.
• 2+ years in engineering leadership or people management.
• Strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven experience scaling systems and engineering teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
