Job Description
Desired Profile: -
· Overall, 5-7 years of experience with BE/BTECH from any recognized university with 10 years minimum in OSP Planning, Partner and Vendor Contract Management, Dark fiber RFP Participation.
· Strong understanding of Cost, budget & other financial working in a Project
· Coordination /liaison work experience with all Telcos/Service providers with NLD/MAN fiber NW, ISPs, Govt/Municipal/ Road/Highway authorities, legal and statutory compliances wrt OSP, Landlords/Building authorities.
· Techno commercial background knowledge with expertise in PR/PO and legal agreement closure
· Should have worked on Major Network Build/Infrastructure Projects and have working Knowledge & exposure to entire Project Lifecycle from Initiation, Planning, Deployment & Operations
· Individual should possess best communication skills to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with customers (External/Internal) and Cross-Functional teams
Role Description: -
This position is overall responsible for OSP Planning, Partner and Contract management, Partner development, PR/PO Process and Business Support. Requires in-depth knowledge of TCL's existing NW and other Service Providers' NW, regulatory environment, risk assessment/mitigation wrt OSP routes.
1. Create medium, long term, optimal cost-effective scalable network capacity plans and provide innovative solutions for managing capacity requirements.
2. Establish contact with partners, discuss requirement, assess partner capability and negotiate pricing and SLAs Identify onboard access suppliers partners for last mile connectivity and manage external supplier relationships.
3. Co-ordinate with cross function team and IRU Partner for creating contracts (Master Service Agreement), Addendum etc.
4. Manage and coordinate for release PR & PO on time.
5. Regularly In touch with Govt. authorities of the BU to support large complex bids.
6. Provide operations support to sales professionals in the areas of pricing bidding creating contracts proposals invoicing etc.
7. Support the bid management team by providing input for own area.
8. Co-ordinate with Cross function team and Manage MIS data base work.
9. Improvement in Planning Process and guideline.
10. Assess the feasibility of solution offered to customer in collaboration with Sales and Presales teams.
11. Conduct installation in case of standard and intermediate projects or monitor installation by vendor for complex projects.
12. Design the route network for relevant projects perform options analysis and plan the roll out of networks.
13. Analyse traffic flows and trends route planning network optimization routing solutions and forecast of traffic.
Technical & Other capabilities: -
· Expertise in Fibre roll out planning with Optimized Cost structure
· Knowledge and expertise in Vendor and Partner management
· Techno commercial knowledge with PR/PO and rate negotiation
· Knowledge of Regulatory compliances/TRAI/Legal Authorities
· Good blend of telecom domain and technical skills.
· Knowledge in tools like GIS (Small world, Smart Inventory), Google Earth, MapInfo.
· Good analytical / problem solving skills.
· Advanced working knowledge on MS-Office applications
· Excellent verbal / written communication skills.
