As a member of the SPK/CNF product development team, you’ll be responsible for designing & developing the features and components of highly scalable, distributed and high performing carrier grade software solutions that ensure private, secure communications. You are also responsible for supporting the customers by resolving the issues reported and providing maintenance releases as needed. Working very closely with architects, leads, cross-functional teams and other stakeholders, you will strengthen F5’s security technology offerings.

Position Summary

  • Design, implement, unit test components of SPK/CNF modules
  • Build tools and infrastructure to improve the F5’s components and features.
  • Work with different development and test teams to achieve the best quality.
  • Set an example of software design and development innovation and excellence.
  • Work very closely with architects, leads, cross-functional teams and other stakeholders, you will strengthen F5’s security technology offerings.
  • Join a collaborative and supportive team, contributing to a positive and inspiring workplace.
  • Stay up to date on relevant technologies, understand trends and opportunities to select appropriate tools & techniques.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

Essential

  • Knowledge of OSI Layer-2 to 5 including LAN switches, routers, tunnels, general TCP/IP and associated protocols preferred.
  • Must have experience and knowledge of Linux networking including networking protocols, architecture, and technologies (HTTP(S), TCP/IP, ...)
  • Deep understanding of data structures & algorithms.
  • Expert in C, C++, Go Lang, Pytest.
  • Expertise in Linux user level programming.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of network security, containers, Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of OS internals.

Nice-to-have

  • Prior experience developing multithreaded high performance distributed modules
  • Fair understanding of network protocols like Diameter, SIP, TCP, UDP, IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS, FTP etc.
  • Expérience in CI/CD (git, pipeline etc.).
  • Prior exposure with containers and micro services.

Qualifications

Requires a minimum of 5 years’ related experience with a Bachelor of Engineering in ECE/Computers or 3 years’ experience with ME/MTech in ECE/Computers.

Excellent organizational agility and interpersonal skills throughout the organization.

Ability to work flexible hours for better collaboration with international teams.
