Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer (Engine Assembly)
Responsibilities:
- Process Analysis: Assist in the analysis and documentation of existing engine assembly processes. Help identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Support Production: Provide on-the-floor support to the assembly teams. Help troubleshoot minor issues and ensure smooth workflow.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Collect and analyze production data, such as cycle times, defect rates, and downtime. Prepare reports to help the team make data-driven decisions.
- Documentation: Assist in creating and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow charts.
- Lean Principles: Participate in continuous improvement projects and learn to apply Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S and Kaizen.
- Tooling & Equipment: Help with the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment and tooling.
- Quality Assurance: Work with the Quality team to monitor production and help implement quality control measures.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
- 1 - 3 Years Engine assembly experience required.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
