Engineer Electrical shall be responsible for Project Electrical and Power System activities. He shall be involved and responsible for engineering, interface management, vendor coordination, interface with P&C, support to construction, facilitating commissioning of all Electrical and power system.

Job Accountabilities

• In house studies for various concepts, options for Electrical systems for the project
• Basic engineering like preparation of conceptual single line diagrams, layouts, functional specifications, scope definition documents,
• Compliance to statutory requirements
• Budget preparation
• Engineering interface management, inter-disciplinary co-ordination for various packages and equipment.
• Coordinate complete procurement cycle from vendor qualification, MR, TBE, TR, vendor document review, manufacturing, FAT and SAT
• Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics team for on-time delivery of Project materials to site.
• Coordination with Engineering Consultant and Vendors for finalization of engineering deliverables.
• Responsible for commissioning of systems

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

• Should be well conversant with applicable National and International standards. CEA regulations, IS, IEC, OISD, NFPA, API, etc. for the application and selection of Electrical equipment and systems.
• Should be conversant with the review of engineering documents like SLDs, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, Plant and equipment layouts, cable and termination schedules, electrical equipment data sheets, layouts, etc.
• Should have cross discipline function knowledge I&C. Process, power plant, mechanical, etc..
• Should be conversant in design of Supervisory Data Acquisition System (SCADA), DCS, PLCs
• Should be conversant with ETAP software, power system studies, harmonics management techniques, etc.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Candidate should be graduate engineer (BE/BTech) in Electrical from recognized University and should have overall experience of 5 to 7 years in Oil and Gas / Petrochemical industry.
