ADI is seeking a skilled Digital Design (Synthesis/STA) Engineer to support ASIC product development worldwide. This role involves close collaboration with Design-for-Test (DFT) engineers and Physical Design engineers to deliver comprehensive design implementation solutions for our business units.
This position is part of ADI’s Engineering Enablement group, with a strong focus on digital design implementation services. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, self-driven, and upholds high professional standards while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute RTL Qualification, Logic Synthesis, Static Timing Analysis, and Equivalence Checking
- Develop and verify constraints, perform Timing/SI Closure, Power Analysis/Optimization, and implement low-power designs
- Collaborate closely with Design, DFT, and Physical Design engineers to provide front-end implementation services and support EDA tools and flows
- Maintain a deep understanding of automation flows and EDA tool functionalities
- Develop and refine Perl, Tcl, Ruby, and Shell scripts for process automation
Minimum Qualifications
- MSEE with 1+ years or BSEE with 3+ years of industry experience in synthesis, STA, and equivalence checking
- Expert proficiency in DesignCompiler/Genus, PrimeTime/Tempus, and Conformal
- Experience in low-power/UPF implementation and Spyglass RTL checkers (preferred)
- Knowledge in timing/SI closure, DFT, and design verification (preferred)
- Familiarity with Verilog
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Perl, Tcl, Ruby, Shell, Java, Scala, and Python
- Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
