About Nanovertex:
NanoVertex is an R&D-driven advanced materials company developing next-generation cathode active materials (CAM), starting with high-performance Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) for EV and Energy Storage applications. We are building indigenous capability in cathode innovation and pilot-scale manufacturing.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an Electrochemistry / Cell Development Engineer with hands-on experience in fabricating and testing half-cells and full-cells for lithium-ion systems.
This role will play a critical part in validating our LFP materials, optimizing electrochemical performance, and supporting pilot-scale development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication of coin cells (half-cell & full-cell) for electrochemical evaluation
- Slurry preparation, electrode coating, calendaring, and cell assembly
- Electrochemical characterization including:
- Charge-discharge cycling
- Rate capability testing
- CV (Cyclic Voltammetry)
- EIS (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy)
- Performance benchmarking of LFP cathode materials
- Data analysis and reporting for R&D optimization
- Collaboration with R&D and process teams for material improvements
- Supporting scale-up validation from lab to pilot
Requirements:
- Masters or PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 26 years of hands-on experience in Li-ion cell fabrication & testing
- Experience working with LFP, NMC, or other cathode chemistries preferred
- Familiarity with battery testing equipment (Arbin, Neware, Biologic, etc.)
- Understanding of electrode formulation & material performance parameters
- Strong analytical and experimental documentation skills
Preferred (But Not Mandatory):
- Experience in industrial R&D or battery startup environment
- Exposure to pouch cell development
- Knowledge of battery degradation mechanisms

Compensation & Benefits
