Job Title: Senior Disaster Recovery Architect

Overview of the Role:

The Senior Disaster Recovery Architect plays a critical role in ensuring the resilience of our IT infrastructure. This position is vital for maintaining the continuity of enterprise-critical I/S services and work processes. The successful candidate will lead disaster recovery requirements gathering, recommend recovery strategies, and architect robust solutions integrating advanced DR, cutover, and chaos engineering practices.

• Lead disaster recovery requirements gathering and recommend BCMDR strategies and options.
• Design, document, and review comprehensive disaster recovery test cases and execution plans. Ensure all DR scenarios are covered and validated through structured testing and documentation.
• Own the end-to-end development, review, and continuous improvement of business recovery plans and protocols.
• Create HLD/LLD/TRG documents for DR implementations.
• Architect and automate DR workflows using Zerto, Cutover (must-have), Perpetuuiti, and Gremlin.
• Integrate DR solutions with cloud and on-prem infrastructure (ESXi, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Conduct risk assessments and analyze the potential impact of business interruptions.
• Align IT organization priorities with key business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate and validate DR drills, including chaos experiments (Gremlin).
• Collaborate with SREs and Cutover Specialists for seamless cutover and reliability.
• Develop and track program metrics to show activities and progress.
• Review, configure, and maintain business continuity and crisis management tools.
• Coordinate with health, safety, and security staff and external agencies to align emergency management plans.
• Manage response coordination and communications during business disruptions.
• Lead troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous enhancement of disaster recovery operations and methods.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Skill Requirements

• Proven experience in disaster recovery architecture and business continuity planning.
• Experience with Cutover tool (must-have).
• Hands-on with Zerto, Perpetuuiti, Gremlin.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation (Ansible, workflow-based DR automation).
• Cloud infrastructure build/troubleshooting (ESXi, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• DevOps practices (CI/CD, scripting in Bash/PowerShell).
• Knowledge of SRE and Chaos Engineering principles.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Other Requirements (Optional)

• Certifications in disaster recovery or business continuity preferred.
• Certification in any public cloud Architect will be preferred.
• Experience working in a multinational technology company advantageous
