Director Shared Services

We are #hiring for a leading public health NGO!

Job Description:

• Provide strategic leadership and governance for Finance, HR, and Administration functions.
• Act as a key advisor to the CEO, translating organisational strategy into strong financial plans, budgets, and compliance frameworks.
• Oversee financial management including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, donor compliance, statutory obligations (FCRA, IT, PF, ESI), audits, and internal controls.
• Strengthen governance, risk management, and institutional systems to support sustainable growth.
• Guide HR strategy, culture building, performance management, and leadership development initiatives.
• Drive process improvement, system integration, and automation across shared services.
• Build and lead a high-performing shared services team and represent the function in leadership and Board discussions.

Job Requirements:

• 1820 years of progressive leadership experience with strong exposure to Finance and oversight of HR & Administration.
• Experience managing large, multi-source donor-funded budgets and complex statutory compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of governance, internal controls, audits, and regulatory compliance in India.
• Experience in development sector / donor-funded / CSR / public sector environments preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organisational systems strengthening, and change management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with CEOs, Boards, auditors, regulators, and funders.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
