We, at Bharti Axa Life Insurance are looking for candidates who want to join our Information Technology department as a developer for IFRS data transformation. The roles and responsibilities are as follows:

Developer - IFRS Data Transformation

Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development:
• Develop, test, and maintain efficient ETL/ELT jobs to extract data from various source systems (databases, files, APIs).
• Design and implement the schema and loading routines for the staging area .
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to perform required data cleansing, aggregation, and transformation necessary for the IFRS solution.
• Transformation Logic Implementation:
• Implement detailed transformation logic to map source data attributes to the target IFRS-compliant data structures .
• Build and execute unit tests and integration tests to validate the accuracy and completeness of the data transformations.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization:
• Debug data discrepancies and pipeline failures quickly.
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to tune and optimize transformation queries and ETL job performance.
• Documentation & Standards:
• Document development work, including technical specifications, data mappings, and testing results.
• Adhere to version control (Git) and deployment standards set by the team.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or ETL development.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in a major ETL/ELT tool (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, DataStage) and expert-level SQL scripting and query optimization.
• Data Modeling: Practical experience working with and implementing relational database schemas and data models.
• Preferred: Prior exposure to financial services data (e.g., banking, insurance) or financial reporting requirements (IFRS, GAAP).
