Role Overview

We are looking for a Jewellery Designer to support design development for the Indian market, with an understanding of regional styles, customer preferences, and commercial jewellery requirements.

The designer will work within a team-based structure, supporting dedicated customers or regions, ensuring timely and market-relevant design execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop commercial jewellery designs for Indian retail, bridal, and festive segments
• Work within a dedicated design team, collaborating with Senior Designers, CAD, merchandisers, sales, and production teams
• Convert customer briefs and references into design sketches and concepts
• Assist in collection development and seasonal launches
• Coordinate with CAD and manufacturing teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility
• Prepare design presentations, sample briefs, and internal submissions
• Ensure designs align with cost, weight, and production guidelines
• Track assigned timelines and deliverables
• Stay updated on Indian jewellery trends, regional preferences, and festival-driven demand
• Participate in exhibitions, customer visits, and store walkthroughs for learning and exposure

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in jewellery design for the Indian market
• Good understanding of gold, diamond, and gemstone jewellery
• Experience working in a team-based design environment
• Strong hand sketching skills; CAD coordination knowledge preferred
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, metal weights, and stone settings
• Ability to work on multiple tasks under guidance and deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills
