By definition, The Preface introduces a story - typically stating its subject, scope, aims or a preliminary that introduces the main event.

Ours goes beyond what the dictionary has defined it to be - Preface to us is a dream, a vision, and a phenomenon that we set out with to encapsulate and embrace branded communication through vivid and eloquent visual storytelling.

One gets judged by their appearance, just like a book gets judged by its cover. Thus, we decided to define that book and design its cover too.

We are looking for a design lead, who is as passionate and skilled, to join us.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A strong visual thinker with a sharp eye for aesthetics across B2B and B2C brands.

Someone who can lead and manage a team of 5+ designers while maintaining high creative standards.

A hands-on designer who can both conceptualize and execute when required.

A clear communicator who can give structured feedback and take ownership of final output.

Someone dynamic, proactive, and genuinely passionate about design and branding.

Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects without compromising quality.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers (5+ members).

Review and approve design work before it goes to clients or stakeholders.

Delegate projects effectively and ensure workload is balanced.

Provide clear feedback and help team members improve their craft and ensure deadlines are met without compromising design quality.

Oversee design output across presentations, brochures, event collaterals, IP branding, and digital assets.

Ensure consistency in design standards across all projects.

Guide the team in developing strong visual concepts aligned with business goals.

Maintain high aesthetic standards across both B2B and B2C communication.

Participate in client discussions when required to present or defend design decisions.

Step in on key projects that require senior-level design thinking and execution.

Manage multiple live projects and track progress closely.

Streamline feedback and iteration cycles to improve turnaround time.

Stay updated with evolving design trends, tools, and formats.

HOW WILL YOU GET IN?

Minimum 4 years of professional experience in graphic design.

Prior experience leading or mentoring a team is mandatory.

Strong portfolio showcasing branding, presentations, event design, and campaign work.

Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and AI Tools (motion tools like Premiere Pro / After Effects are a plus).

Strong understanding of typography, layout, color systems, and brand identity.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
