Location : Gurgaon (Work from Office only, except for exceptional cases)

Start Date : Immediate

Stipend : 15,000/month

Position Overview

Were looking for a design intern who can build on an existing, high-standard design language and help take it to the next phase . This role is for someone who doesnt see UI, UX, graphics, social, or light video editing as separate silosbut as different expressions of one cohesive design system. This is not a learn-only internship. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role where your work will directly shape how thousands of users, students, parents, and institutions experience Roobaroo.ai.

Roobaroo.ai is building Indias first holistic 21st Century programs like bootcamp, webinars, challenges - integrating career clarity, future-ready skills, and holistic wellbeing into a single framework.

Grounded in NEP 2020, Stanfords case-based learning methodologies, and the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF), our programs are co-created with experts from IIT Kharagpur, IIM Ahmedabad, Ministry of Education, Amazon, Google, BCG , and more. We are already working with IITs, DPS, BITS, DAV, DU, and other education institutions across India.

Key Responsibilities

As a Design Intern, you will work across product, brand, programs, and community, including:

1. Product & Website Design

• Build and iterate on web and product interfaces using our existing design language
• Design flows, layouts, and components that are intuitive, modern, and student-friendly
• Help evolve and maintain our design system across platforms

2. Program & Collateral Design

• Design for programs, bootcamps, webinars, and challenges
• Create brochures, decks, worksheets, and learning collaterals
• Translate abstract ideas (growth, clarity, wellbeing) into clear visual systems

3. Social & Brand Design

• Create carousels, posts, thumbnails, posters, and infographics
• Design content that feels playful, contemporary, and culturally relevant
• Maintain consistency while adapting designs across different formats

4. Motion & Editing (Basic)

• Support with light video editing, reels, and motion elements
• Collaborate on storytelling through visuals, transitions, and pacing

5. AI-Powered Design Workflows

• Use AI tools to speed up ideation, iterations, and creative exploration
• Combine human design thinking with AI-assisted execution

Ideal Profile:

• Have strong skills across UI/UX + Graphic Design
• Are comfortable juggling web design, social creatives, program collaterals, and light editing
• Can build on an existing design language , not reinvent randomly
• Design work that feels playful, fresh, and attractive to todays audience
• Think in systems , not isolated screens or posts
• Are not limited by types of designyou think end-to-end
• Have a clear portfolio showcasing UI, graphics, social, and experiments
• Are familiar with tools like Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva , and basic motion/editing tools
• Actively use or explore AI tools in your design workflow
