Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical and automotive components using CAD tools
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings for:
1.Suspension components (arms, knuckles, brackets, mounts).
2.Subframes, chassis brackets, and mounting structures.
3.Layout-driven parts based on vehicle packaging requirements.
- Modify and iterate designs based on engineering inputs, analysis feedback, and manufacturability.
- Work closely with CAE, vehicle dynamics, and manufacturing teams to support design requirements.
- Assist in defining and maintaining chassis hard points and component layouts.
- Participate in design reviews and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) discussions.
- Maintain CAD data, drawings, BOMs, and version control.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in any one CAD software : Solidworks / Siemens NX / CATIA.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics & powertrain will be appreciated.
- Ability to interpret engineering requirements and convert them into practical CAD designs.
- Willingness to learn and work on vehicle-level systems.
