Key Responsibilities
 
•Sending RFQ, Obtaining quotes and negotiations with the vendors on price, INCO terms and Payment terms, delivery etc. 
•Preparing QCS (Preparing techno commercial Quotation Comparative statement) 
•Preparing Purchase orders / work orders and sending them to the vendors / contractors. 
•Follow up with vendors and contractors for material / service delivery. 
•Follow up with Vendor to get the BT document for BT transaction and arrange clear the goods. 
•Coordinating with the Logistics to Bond the Material at Port. 
•Coordinating with the WH team to make the MRNs for Bond Materials at Port. 
•Coordinating with PPIC and arrange to move the materials from Port / Vendor site as per the schedule. 
•To coordinate with end user and WH for MRNs. 
•To coordinate with finance for the release of payments and forwarding the cheques. 
•Co ordinating with finance and issuing the latter of credits to vendor. 
•Vendor evaluation and new vendor development. 
•100% audit compliance and support to plant audits and emergencies 
•Periodical Review of pending PRs 
•Periodical review of open POs and cleaning the junk in the system 
•Review of pending payments and coordination with Finance for account reconciliation. 
•Periodical review of advance payments, payments against PI, Payments against dispatch documents etc. 
•Periodical review of non-moving items and disposing thereof 
•Closure of CAPA 
•Statutory compliance and acquaintance with laws and procedures. 
•Periodical visit to plants and vendor workshops 
•Should be part of CFTs wherever applicable 
•Sharing of domain knowledge 
•Coordination with end user & vendors for issue resolution, preparing and circulation of MOMs. 
•Responsible for any other work assigned by HOD.
