About the Role

Lead end-to-end delivery of AWS data and analytics solutions. Own execution of data engineering, ML/AI, and BI programs while building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

AWS Analytics Delivery

• Data platforms: S3 data lakes, Redshift warehouses, Glue ETL, Athena, Lake Formation
• Real-time pipelines: Kinesis, MSK, Lambda, Step Functions
• ML/AI: SageMaker (training, deployment, monitoring), Bedrock (LLMs, RAG), AI services

Technical & Delivery Leadership

• Define AWS architecture patterns and data modeling standards
• Implement ML Ops and LLM Ops on SageMaker/Bedrock
• Manage multiple programs ($10M+ budgets, multi-TB datasets)
• Establish DataOps with CI/CD (CloudFormation/CDK, CodePipeline)

Team & Clients

• Lead 30+ data engineers, ML engineers, data scientists, BI developers
• Drive AWS certifications and technical upskilling
• Translate business problems to AWS solutions
• Support pre-sales with architecture design and estimates

Qualifications

• 15-20 years in data/analytics; 5+ years leading delivery; 5+ years AWS hands-on
• AWS Services: Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, EMR, Kinesis, SageMaker, Bedrock
• Technical: Advanced SQL, Python/Scala, PySpark, CloudFormation/CDK, data modeling
• AWS Certs (preferred): Data Analytics Specialty, ML Specialty, Solutions Architect Professional
• Delivered: TB-scale data lakes/warehouses, ML models in production, cloud migrations, streaming pipelines
• Strong program management and client-facing skills
• Bedrock RAG implementations, multi-cloud (Azure/GCP), cost optimization expertise
