Hiring: Engineering Leader / Delivery Head BFSI Digital (Core Banking & Payments)

Location : Pune (Hybrid 3 days office mandatory)

The Role

• Own end-to-end product engineering delivery for large BFSI transformation programs (Core Banking, Transaction Banking, Payments, Lending platforms)
• Define technical roadmap, architecture, and engineering practices
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performance engineering teams (80150+ members) across locations
• P&L ownership deliver projects on time, on budget, and with predictable margins
• Drive revenue growth within existing accounts and help bootstrap new logos
• Champion engineering excellence, DevSecOps maturity, and IP creation

Must-Have (Non-Negotiable)

1. Total experience 20 years
2. Minimum 5+ years in full-lifecycle product engineering delivery in Core Banking / Transaction Banking / Payments domain (Temenos, Finacle, Intellect, FIS, ACI, Thought Machine, Mambu, etc.)
3. Recent hands-on (last 34 years) in full-stack enterprise technologies:

• Frontend: React/Angular + TypeScript
• Backend: Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Cloud: AWS or GCP (EKS/GKE, Serverless, etc.)
• DevOps: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Observability stack

1. Proven track record of meeting/exceeding revenue & margin targets as Delivery Head / Program Director
2. Built and scaled cross-location teams with strong engineering governance
3. Excellent stakeholder management with CXO-level clients in India & overseas

Good to Have

• Experience in digital banks / fintechs / neobanks
• Contributions to open-source or patents in banking domain
• TOGAF or cloud architect certifications
