Job Description

Must Have Skills:

• C Programming
• L2/L3 Protocols
• Switches / Routers
• Control Plane & Data Plane
• IXIA / Spirent Traffic Generators
• Debugging & Code Analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in C programming.
• Solid experience working with L2/L3 networking protocols.
• Strong understanding of Switches and Routers architecture.
• Good knowledge of Control Plane and Data Plane concepts.
• Experience using traffic generators like IXIA and Spirent.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to understand large codebases.
• Good communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Datacom product development environment.
• Hands-on experience in protocol development or enhancements.
• Exposure to performance optimization and complex issue resolution.
• Experience working in embedded/networking systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance networking features using C programming.
• Work on L2/L3 protocol implementation and optimization.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex networking issues.
• Perform debugging and root cause analysis across control and data plane.
• Execute and validate networking features using IXIA/Spirent traffic generators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature development and issue resolution.
• Maintain high-quality coding standards and documentation.
