Role Overview

• We are looking for a Data Scientist with hands-on experience in pricing and demand modeling.
• This role focuses on elasticity estimation, commercial analytics, and multi-model experimentation not GenAI or LLM work.
• You should be comfortable working with transactional data and converting model outputs into pricing recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and validate price elasticity models (SKU / segment level)
• Run and compare multiple regression/ML models for demand prediction
• Work with large transactional datasets (cleaning, aggregation, feature engineering)
• Conduct revenue, margin, and mix analysis
• Translate model results into clear business insights

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels)
• SQL proficiency
• Hands-on experience with regression modeling
• Experience estimating price elasticity using real datasets
• Ability to compare model performance (CV, error metrics, diagnostics)

Bonus if hands-on experience in Web- Scraping

Must-Have Experience

• 24 years as a Data Scientist
• At least one real-world pricing or demand modeling project
• Experience working with revenue/commercial datasets

• Freshers
• Only academic/theoretical exposure to elasticity
