Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable, production-grade machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in big data technologies, PySpark, and advanced ML techniques, along with hands-on experience in cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade machine learning models
• Work with large-scale datasets using PySpark and Big Data frameworks
• Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to solve business problems
• Build and optimize ML pipelines on cloud platforms
• Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Implement MLOps/DevOps best practices for model deployment and monitoring
• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of ML solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)

Experience

• 46 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer
• Experience delivering multiple production-grade ML solutions in academic or corporate environments

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in PySpark
• Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning, and data modelling
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning techniques , including:
• Tree-based models, Deep Learning (CNNs, RNNs, GNNs, Transformers), Reinforcement Learning and/or Unsupervised Learning
• Experience with Big Data platforms :
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud
• Experience with Big Data engines :
• Apache Hadoop, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark
• Knowledge of MLOps / DevOps tools :
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience in real-time or streaming data processing
• Exposure to model monitoring and lifecycle management
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
