Data Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Engineer with overall 7-9 years of experience and strong data quality background and a solid QA mindset. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in Snowflake and Python, with handson experience in building, validating, and optimizing data pipelines. This role requires someone who can ensure data accuracy, reliability, and completeness while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support robust data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and Python.
• Implement and manage data quality frameworks, including validation rules, anomaly detection, reconciliation, and monitoring.
• Develop automated data quality tests and integrate them into CI/CD workflows.
• Partner with business, analytics, and engineering teams to define data quality requirements and SLAs.
• Perform root-cause analysis on data issues and drive long-term remediation.
• Optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, data definitions, and QA test cases.
• Support production data processes with a strong focus on data accuracy and issue prevention.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards, coding practices, and quality metrics.
