Job Description: D365 Manufacturing Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Manufacturing Functional Consultant with strong expertise in D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Manufacturing modules. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring manufacturing processes, and supporting end-to-end ERP implementations.

The role requires deep understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, and supply chain processes, along with hands-on experience implementing D365 Manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Functional Analysis

• Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze manufacturing requirements.
• Conduct workshops, requirement analysis, and process mapping.
• Translate business requirements into functional design documents (FDD).

D365 Manufacturing Implementation

• Configure and implement Dynamics 365 Manufacturing modules.
• Support end-to-end ERP implementation, rollout, and system upgrades.
• Ensure best practices in production planning, shop floor processes, and manufacturing operations.

Manufacturing Module Expertise

Hands-on experience with the following modules:

• Production Control
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Routing
• Master Planning / MRP
• Product Information Management
• Inventory Management
• Quality Management
• Costing and Production Accounting

Solution Design & Configuration

• Design manufacturing process solutions within D365 F&O.
• Configure system settings aligned with manufacturing best practices.
• Work with technical teams on customizations and integrations.

Testing & Deployment

• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist in data migration, cutover planning, and go-live support.
• Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with project managers, technical consultants, and supply chain teams.
• Provide functional guidance to development teams.

Required Skills

Dynamics 365 Expertise

• Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Manufacturing modules.
• Hands-on configuration of Production Control and Master Planning.

Manufacturing Domain Knowledge

Understanding of:
