Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Customer Service Executive specializing in Sea Imports, based in Mumbai. The role involves managing all aspects of customer service related to sea import operations to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, resolving customer issues, managing documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and effective service delivery. The Customer Service Executive will also be required to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Graduate in any discipline.
3 - 5 years of experiencein Sea Import Customer Service / Operations.
Knowledge of import documentation and customs clearance.
Good communication and MS Office skills.
Handle end-to-endsea import shipments (FCL / LCL).
Coordinate withcustomers, CHA, shipping lines, CFS, and transporters.
Check import documents and ensure timelycustoms clearance.
Track shipment status and provide regular customer updates.
Control detention/demurrage and resolve customer queries.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and SOPs.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and internal teams
- Demonstrated knowledge in Customer Support and Customer Service to address and resolve client inquiries and concerns promptly
- Experience in Customer Service Management and a proven track record in maintaining high levels of Customer Satisfaction
- Proficiency in handling documentation related to sea import processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- Familiarity with sea import regulations and procedures is an advantage
