Job Responsibilities:

Content writer will be responsible for all content related to the brand and its products, for

various offline and online channels, including but not limited to- website brand content,

blogs, social media content, concept notes & themes, cultural & editorial content, store

content, emailers & newsletters, performance marketing ads, new launch product texts, and

scripts.

Create / write new content and concepts to assist all marketing campaigns. The position

requires frequent liaison with the Marketing and Graphics Team.

Regularly reference new ideas by researching industry-related topics & relevant competitor

brands.

Identify customers needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.

Write marketing ad copies and branded content that aptly capture the brand USPs and are

also engaging to read.

Development for innovative and unique content for global, local, and regional marketing

campaigns. Focus: India & International differentiators.

The content writer will also be tasked with elevating the brands social media presence by

developing engaging content ideas for stories and posts.

Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.

Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.

Write, proofread, and edit blog posts before publication.

Ensure all-round consistency (style, fonts, and images) of the content.

Update website content as needed.

Brand Custodian: the content writer should over time develop a deep understanding of the

BIBA philosophy & develop the Brands communication guidelines & tone of voice.

Experience and Qualification:

Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or a similar role. Experience in a

fashion retail or beauty brand preferred

Total work experience of 2-3 years with minimum 1 year in a content role in a D2C

ecommerce company

Portfolio of published articles.

Experienced in conducting research using multiple sources.

Familiarity with web publications.

Excellent writing and editing skills in English.

Strong conceptualization.

Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress).

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Bachelors Degree in Journalism / Mass Communication or BA / MA in English Literature
