Job Description: Network Automation Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Automation Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for automating the configuration, management, and monitoring of network devices to enhance efficiency, performance, and reliability. This role requires expertise in scripting and automation tools, and network management platforms to automate routine network tasks, enhance performance, and ensure seamless network operations. As well as a deep understanding of network management and optimization processes.
Key Responsibilities
Automate Network Management
Develop and maintain scripts to automate the configuration, management, and monitoring of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
Implement automation tools like Ansible, Python, and Terraform to simplify network tasks and processes.
Network Monitoring & Performance Optimization
Automate network monitoring and alerting to detect and resolve issues proactively.
Create automated workflows for traffic optimization, load balancing, and resource scaling.
Configuration Management
Implement and maintain automated network configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Ensure consistency and compliance across network device configurations.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of automation scripts, processes, and configurations.
Generate and review reports on network performance, reliability, and automation effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in network automation, scripting, and using automation tools.
Strong knowledge of network devices, protocols, and configuration management tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with network monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with cloud networking and related automation tools.

- To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
- To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions / Reopen Cases
- To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
- To independently resolve tickets & esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
- To provide support for on call escalations /L3 level support and doing incident & problem management
- Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management, Training freshers, coaching analysts & conducting interviews/participation in hiring drives.
