Job Title: DevOps Automation Engineer We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to design, develop, and manage an automation platform embracing DevOps methodology for the infrastructure management, which includes VMware ESXi, Windows and Linux based images. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ansible Automation environment combined into a unified and security-hardened enterprise platform for mission-critical workloads and a deep understanding of automation best practices.

• Hybrid-Cloud environment:-Build an automation platform for virtual workloads running on VMware ESXi (Windows and Linux)-Build an automation platform for management of physical hypervisor layer (Add-on: VMware ESXi, vSAN)-Develop the integration and migration capabilities for hybrid-cloud environments (Add-on: AWS and Azure)
• DevOps Automation - Ansible:-Hands-on experience on Ansible and Ansible Tower to automate the infrastructure deployment and management activities- Deployment of applications and proactively manages change.- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks for automating the deployment of both Windows and Linux images.-Experience in managing Ansible Playbooks with Ansible roles, variables and inventory files-Copy and remove files on remote systems using file module (Windows and Linux primarily)-Expertise with configuration management of Ansible and has worked on Ansible integration - Ensure playbooks are modular, reusable, and follow best practices for error handling and logging.
• Windows and Linux Image Creation: - Develop scripts and automation workflows to create and customize Windows and Linux images. - Integrate tools like Packer, MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit), Kickstart, or Preseed with Ansible for image creation.
• Configuration Management: - Use Ansible to manage and configure both Windows and Linux server roles and features. - Automate the installation and configuration of applications, services, and settings on both Windows and Linux images.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):-Experience in working with GIT to store the code and integrate it to Ansible Tower for deployment- Integrate Ansible automation workflows with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.- Implement version control for Ansible playbooks and roles.
• Testing and Validation: - Develop automated tests to validate both Windows and Linux image deployment processes. - Ensure images meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Documentation and Training: - Document automation workflows, processes, and best practices. - Provide training and support to other team members on Ansible and both Windows and Linux image deployment automation.5 to 8 years experience in IT automation, with experience in both Windows and Linux environments.Technical Skills:- Proficiency in Ansible, Ansible Tower, Packer including creation of Ansible roles, playbook creation and role development. - Strong knowledge of both Windows Server, Client and Linux environments (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Windows Server and Client OS).- Experience with image creation tools such as Packer, MDT, Kickstart, or Preseed.- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. - Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git. - PowerShell scripting skills for Windows and shell scripting skills for Linux. (PowerShell, Bash, Shell) - Proven track record of developing and deploying automation solutions using Ansible.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and documentation abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Certification in Ansible, such as Red Hat Certified Spe
