About the role

As a Computer Vision Intern, youll work directly on our next generation of perception systems. Your work will primarily focus on two core tracks:

1. Computer vision for retail - people detection, multi-object tracking, re-identification across cameras, and demographic attribute estimation (e.g. age and gender).
2. Computer vision for safety - object detection for safety use cases, low latency inference, real-time alert gener

Youll be working close to the founders on problems that sit at the intersection of model design, system performance, and real-world constraints.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the founders to design and develop new features.
• Design, train, and evaluate computer vision models for person tracking, demographics detection, image similarity and feature extraction
• Experiment with new techniques and state-of-the-art VLMs for real-time understanding of camera feeds
• Build and benchmark real-time inference pipelines such as GPU utilisation, latency, and memory efficiency.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience training and deploying deep learning models
• Familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Understanding of object detection and tracking systems
• Experience working with FastAPI/Django backends
• Basic database knowledge (PostgreSQL or MongoDB)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Good to have

• Experience with NVIDIA DeepStream, ONNX Runtime, or real-time video inference
• Experience with projects related to multi-object tracking, demographics detection or re-identification
