About the Role

Job Title: AWS Cloud Operations Lead

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad

Responsibilities

• Should have hands-on administration experience with AWS.
• Should be able to perform deep dives on AWS services implementation (Core Services - VPC, EC2, ECS) and work independently.
• Strong demonstrated experience on working with AWS Infrastructure.
• Should be able to independently work on ECS (configure, maintain and troubleshoot issues with microservices).
• Should be hands on with IaaC tools (Terraform/Cloud Formation) also be proficient with using AWS CLI.
• Provide operational support adhering to defined SLAs & KPI, also to manage the Team.
• Experience with Implementation of cloud solutions for microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address infrastructure requirements and challenges.
• Ability to work with all the fundamental platform elements - EC2, IAM, VPC, EKS, Security Groups, EBS, Cloudwatch.
• Cloud Managed Services such as Managed Databases, ECS Clusters Experience with automation using bash/python is preferred.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices to continuously improve cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10-14 years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud services.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience with Cloud Operations.
• Must have at least 5 years experience with AWS compute, storage, container, database and operations services.
• Strong expertise in networking concepts and technologies, including VPC, Route 53, VPN.
• Proficiency in AWS governance frameworks and best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
