Educational Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Engineering
• Discipline: Civil / Structural

Experience Range

• Designer: 5 Years & Above
• Senior Designer: 10 Years & Above
• Principal Designer: 20 Years & Above

Mode of Interview

• Physical Interview Delhi Location
• Tool Test + Technical Interview

Work Experience

Candidate should have experience in EPC or detail design engineering companies in the engineering discipline for execution of projects across sectors such as:

• Oil & Gas
• Energy
• Refining
• Petrochemicals

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

General

• Ensure quality of design as per job manual and QA checklist requirements.
• Ability to execute tasks within project timelines with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate expertise in 3D modeling tools such as SmartPlant 3D (SP3D).
• Take ownership and responsibility to deliver work within project schedules.
• Perform modeling and layout detail design work related to discipline deliverables.
• Generate layouts, installation drawings, and Material Take-Offs (MTOs) based on engineering workflow.
• Check drawings and MTOs.
• Review vendor drawings related to plant design.

HSE, QA/QC

• Execute assigned scope of work in compliance with HSE Management System and IMS requirements.
• Ensure documentation is prepared, checked, and approved as per the Project Quality Plan.

Project Control / Coordination

• Communicate project status and schedule progress to the Lead Engineer.
• Track and communicate man-hours spent.
• Record and communicate changes to the original scope of work.
• Contribute to change management processes.

Domain Knowledge

• Modeling and preparation of design drawings along with MTO generation for:
• Steel structures
• Pipe racks / Pipeways
• Buildings
• Machine hall buildings
• Analyzer shelters
• Noise hood shelters
• Administrative buildings
• Electrical and control buildings
• Escape routes
• Preparation of Structural Steel Standard Drawings.
• Preparation of design drawings for various types of foundations, including reinforcement detailing.
• Preparation of drawings for roads, paving, and drainage.
• Preparation and review of Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Checking Civil & Structural (C&S) design drawings.
• Checking Shop Drawings as a shop drawing checker.
• Effective communication skills with proactive interdisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to identify cost optimization opportunities during project execution.
