Purpose / key objective of role:

The primarily responsibility is performing an end-to-end IFRS reporting to Prudential, US GAAP reporting to ICICI Bank and Proforma Ind AS reporting to IRDAI and financial reporting to internal stakeholders

IFRS reporting to Prudential

o

Preparation of quarterly financial statements and other deliverables as per IFRS framework and instructions from Prudential

o

Assist in financial review by CFO & Actuary head on the IFRS deliverables to Prudential

o

Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting to Prudential

o

Acts as point of contact/expert for technical queries on IFRS/IND AS and US GAAP

o

Study and evaluation of Ind AS and help in representation to IRDAI on Ind AS

o

Preparation of lease working in compliance to Ind AS 116

USGAAP reporting to ICICI Bank

o

Financial statements & relevant disclosures as per US GAAP guidelines and instructions from ICICI Bank

o

Annual review with CFO & Department head of US GAAP deliverables

o

Ensure that timely and accurate US GAAP reporting to Audit Committee and ICICI Bank

Proforma Ind AS reporting to IRDAI

o

Preparation of Proforma Financial statements & relevant disclosures as per Ind AS

o

Annual review with CFO & Department head

Other activities

o

Ensure timely & accurate quarterly reporting to Actuarial team

o

Ensure compliance with SOX framework

Educational Qualification:

Chartered Accountant (0-1 year experience) /C.A. Fresher Preferably 1st or 2nd Attempt

Immediate joiner Competencies (Knowledge & Skills):

Good understanding of theoretical/technical knowledge of IND AS & IFRS with specific attention on Ind AS 117

Good statutory audit experience of large/mid-size companies

Proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS word

Strong verbal and written communication skills

An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving

Positive attitude, hard-working and attention to detail

Finance Reporting unit is responsible for preparation & closure of monthly financials statements (FS) and analysis and review of FS. This team also handles various regulatory reporting related to financial statement. It also acts as support to operations, shared service,

and IT team on accounting related queries. Further, this team key responsibility includes statutory audit management.

Ensure support for timely and accurate preparation of standalone and consolidated financials as per relevant Accounting Standards

Review and analysis of financials statement and ensure good health of balance sheet.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stock exchanges / website/ Newspapers, XBRL, IRDAI BAP portal.

Ensure posting of monthly closing entries in SAP accounting system. Support Financial closure on monthly and quarterly basis.

Respond to auditors queries and data requirement to get sign off timely from auditors. Acting as SPOC from Companys behalf.

Guide operations and shared service team on accounting related queries.

Study and evaluate relevant various GAAP applicable to the Company.

Financial control

To monitor and strengthen financial controls of the Company by enhancing the existing set up and implementing additional controls through review and analysis of financial processes. Ensure quarterly certification to the Board Audit committee on reporting and related controls of various Balance Sheet Schedules. Identify and initiate IT projects to drive automation and process improvements across operational and financial areas. Conduct GL reviews and analysis to give assurance to the management on the financial position of the Company.

Conducting GL reviews and analysis on balance sheet to ensure correctness and reliability of the numbers reported

Performing user acceptance testing for new system set-up impacting accounting, financial controls, and reporting

Preparation and timely submission of reports and presentations to audit committee quarterly / annually

Liaising with Statutory auditors for submission of audit requirements

Educational Qualification: CA ( 0-2 years exp) / B.Com (3-4 years exp) Competencies (Knowledge & Skills):

Proficient in MS Excel and MS word

Working knowledge of SAP FI

Strong verbal and written communication skills

An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
