Requirement for: Channel Partners & Alliances Desk



Team : International Clients Group (Custody Business)



Role Description:

  • Looking for a skilled professional in a Business Development Function in developing relationships with key intermediaries/service providers/partners in the Funds ecosystem.
  • Building the channel partner network of Law Firms, Tax Consultants. Fund Administrators, Exchanges and others across geos - ASIA, AUS, US and UK.
  • Responsible for creating thought leadership engagements and generating business referrals through the partner network.
  • The end clients serviced are Hedge Fund Managers, Asset Management Firms, Quant firms, Proprietary Trading Firms, Private Equity and Credit fund managers, Investors.



Domain Expertise:

  • A candidate with an overall experience of 5 to 7 years in Indian Capital Markets and relevant understanding of Custody Market.
  • Structural understanding of AIF, PMS, FPIs, FDIs, Hedge funds flow from various geographies into India.
  • Must understand Exchange Traded products like Equity & Derivatives.
  • Basic acumen in using AI tools like ChatGPT and Co-pilot at work.



Technical Skills:

  • Should be hands on with MIS and reporting, excellent presentation, communication and email writing skills.
  • Hands on with using LinkedIn and Twitter for business.



Channel Partners (CP):

  • Identify and develop relationships with Key Channel Partners (CPs) in the geos of focus.
  • To drive , follow up and develop marketing plans/ campaigns , go to strategies along with marketing teams within Nuvama
  • To support existing partner relationships and ongoing administration.



Alliances: Identify & develop B2B tie-ups/alliances with partners that supplement business development activities. Involve the relevant team & stake holders for closures.



Pre-Sales: Regularly perform Pre-Sales activities using relevant Databases/Sales Platform for identifying news Leads for the Sales Team.



Thought Leadership & Branding:

  • Curate and Host In-person Seminars, Webinars, Conference Calls, Knowledge Series, Crystal Gazing interview sessions, RoundTable Discussions
  • Nuvama Positioning- Identify & Secure Speaking Engagements at relevant events
  • Identify and collaborate with Associations across geos assigned.
  • Ideate on Written articles etc.
