Hiring: Category Manager (City/Central Ops) | Delhi & Bangalore | Urban Company

Urban Company is Indias leading home services platform, delivering high-quality, reliable services across categories like beauty, cleaning, appliance repair, and more right at customers homes.

We are looking for high-ownership, execution-focused professionals to join us as Category Managers and drive on-ground operations at scale.

What Youll Do

Drive partner onboarding, training, and quality improvement across the category

Own end-to-end supply operations sourcing, selection, and performance management

Monitor and improve key metrics like fill rate, cancellations, partner productivity, and customer experience

Solve on-ground operational challenges in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Work closely with product, marketing, and central teams to execute category-level initiatives

What Were Looking For

03 years of experience in operations / business / marketplace roles

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills (Excel/SQL preferred)

High ownership mindset with a get things done attitude

Ability to thrive in fast-paced, execution-heavy roles

Willingness to work closely with field teams and drive impact on the ground

Screening Criteria (Important)

UG completed between 20212024 only

No postgraduate degree (MBA/PG)

Experience beyond ~4 years will not be considered
