Role Description
The Category Manager is responsible for driving the P&L of the assigned category by formulating and executing strategic initiatives that strengthen market presence, optimize product portfolios, and meet evolving customer needs. The role ensures sustained category growth through data-driven decision-making, innovation, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
Description
- Category management & P&L ownership
- Market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification
- GotoMarket (GTM) planning and channel development
- New Product Development (NPD) and product lifecycle management
- Pricing strategy & margin management
- Strong crossfunctional collaboration (Sales, R&D, Marketing, Ops)
- Analytical problemsolving, data interpretation & decisionmaking
- Excellent communication, presentation & stakeholder management
- Project management with strong execution skills
- Experience in construction chemicals or building materials (preferred)
