We are hiring, Category Manager - Activities (Global Destinations)
Gurgaon | Full-time | 37 years exp
Thrillophilia is Indias largest multi-day tours platform and one of the fastest-growing travel companies globally.
Activities (Things To Do) is one of our highest-velocity verticals, and were looking for someone who can take it from strong to category-defining.
This is not a listing role.
This is not a vendor-management role.
This is not a keep-the-engine-running role.
This is a full-stack growth seat where you will own GMV, margin, attach rates, cancellations, supply depth, and city-level P&Lend to end.
What You Will Actually Do
This section matters, because the good people will filter themselves here.
You will own growth for the Activities vertical across global markets.
Not support it. Not shadow it. Own it.
Your day-to-day will look like:
1. Build & scale high-impact SKUs
Identify what actually moves GMV (not vanity listings)
Unlock Tier-1 attractions, events, seasonal spikes, exclusive deals
Increase product-market fit in each destination
2. Drive Pricing, Margins & Take-Rate
Real-time pricing intelligence vs OTAs
Improve take-rate without hurting conversion
Reduce leakage, improve profitability, negotiate better supplier terms
3. Grow Attach Rate on Tours
A major lever.
You will design & run experiments to lift activities attach-rate on top-selling tours across Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, Bali, Europe.
4. Reduce Refunds & Cancellations
Fix supply-side issues
Improve ops alignment
Identify systemic patterns that kill margin
5. Own City-Level P&L
Target setting, forecasting, contribution margin
Deep diagnosis of GMV blockers
Relentless experiment velocity
6. Run Experiments That Move Revenue
Examples youll touch in Month 1:
How do we grow Dubai Activities by 40% without touching discounts?
What product changes lift Singapore cancellation recovery by 20%?
How do we bundle attractions with tours to increase attach-rate by +8%?

37 years in Growth / Category / Revenue / Marketplace / Strategy
Strong analytical comfortExcel, metrics, funnels
Experience in marketplaces, travel, e-commerce, high-velocity categories
Ability to break vague problems into testable, revenue-driving experiments
Bias for action You ship, measure, iterate fast
Nice-to-Have
Understanding of OTA dynamics
Exposure to international markets
Experience improving cancellation rates or attach-rate models
