Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Supplier Scouting and Industry Mapping:

   • Scout potential suppliers for engine proprietary components.
   • Map industry references to identify leading suppliers and emerging trends.

2. Supplier Selection and Price Negotiation:

   • Select appropriate suppliers and lead price negotiations to ensure competitive pricing aligned with budgets.

3. Costing and Product Cost Analysis:

   • Develop cost estimates using predefined templates and update costing models based on market conditions.

4. Financial Analysis and Risk Assessment:

   • Analyze supplier balance sheets for negotiations and assess financial risks to ensure supply chain stability.

5. Cost Reduction and Negotiation Strategies:

   • Implement innovative cost-saving strategies and execute plans for achieving cost efficiency.

6. Negotiation Skills:

   • Leverage strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and foster long-term supplier relationships.

7. Price Containment:

   • Develop strategies to manage and contain prices within cost management objectives.

8. Supplier Risk Management:

   • Create and execute risk mitigation plans, proactively addressing potential supply chain risks.

9. Differential Sourcing Strategy:

   • Ensure compliance with processes and ethical standards while driving sourcing differentiation.

10. Benchmarking Technology and Prices:

    • Conduct industry benchmarking to compare technologies and prices, ensuring competitiveness.

11. Cross-Functional Team Coordination:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFT) and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
