Business Intelligence Analyst

About the Role:

Were hiring a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst who prioritizes handson Power BI development and stakeholder management. Technically, youll architect and optimize semantic models, author advanced DAX/M, and implement performance best practices (e.g., aggregations, composite models) to deliver governed, highperforming dashboards that accelerate decision-making. Youll lead requirements workshops, translate business needs into clear data stories, and drive adoption across teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Power BI Development & Modeling

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models to support business needs.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, DAX calculations, and query performance optimization.

1. Stakeholder Engagement

• Communicate complex analytical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.
• Partner with business teams to ensure BI solutions align with strategic objectives.

1. Data Analytics & Storytelling

• Translate business questions into effective data stories and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality BI solutions.

1. Performance & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to DAX, M queries, and data refresh performance.
• Continuously improve existing Power BI solutions for scalability and efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Power BI development with advanced features and functionalities.
• 4+ years in Data Analytics, including data modeling and visualization.
• Demonstrated expertise in building, maintaining, and improving Power BI semantic models.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, M, relational database modeling, and query optimization.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and DAX troubleshooting experience.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Snowflake, SQL, and Salesforce.
• A portfolio of Power BI dashboards personally developed (PBIX, .JPEG, or .PNG formats acceptable).
