Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related field, or an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in partnering with executive leadership and driving impact.
Excellent business judgment, leadership skills with the ability to communicate and engage with a executive management team.
Excellent problem-solving skill with the ability to manage problems and drive insights.
Excellent investigative and technical skills (e.g., Financial Modeling/SQL/Data Viz).

In this role, you will partner with the Global AppDev leadership to build the future of the App Developers digital ecosystem. You will drive projects and initiatives end-to-end for Financial Planning and Analysis and support cross-functional projects and initiatives. You will involve partnering with others in finance, business, business operations and strategy in country, regional and global teams. You should be able to develop and execute financial analysis or components of financial analysis such as gap analysis or driver models.The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Responsibilities

Drive business strategy across the AppDev Business. Define financial analysis objectives and needs of the business, and prioritize activities.
Act as a Trusted advisor to Business Leaders on business performance and finance related priorities. Provide management with insights and recommendations and interact to drive business growth.
Manage partnership with Finance and cross-functional partners, bring clarity to the problems.
Communicate by simplifying technical issues behind solutions/calculations, and focusing on insights.
