Job Title: Business Development Specialist

Location: Sector 53, Gurugram

Department: Sales & Business Development

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of sales acumen, relationship management skills, and a data-driven approach to generate and close business opportunities. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication, and a proactive sales mindset.


Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Acquisition

  • Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients through calls, emails, and networking.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects across target industries.
  • Lead negotiations and close business opportunities that contribute to revenue growth.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Understand client needs and present tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during proposal and contract stages.

3. Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Research market trends, competitors, and industry developments to inform BD strategies.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership for product positioning and strategy.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to drive alignment on customer needs and delivery commitments.
  • Support marketing initiatives with market intelligence and customer insights.

5. Reporting & Forecasting

  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on pipeline, sales activities, and revenue forecasts.
  • Use CRM tools to track performance metrics and opportunities.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 3-7 years in business development, sales, client management, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Data-driven decision-making and strong analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
  • Ability to identify strategic business opportunities and translate them into wins
  • Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling skills
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.)
  • Experience in B2B sales or enterprise accounts
