Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive with 23 years of experience in HR Tech or SaaS sales for a field-based hunter role. The primary responsibility is to drive new business acquisition by identifying, engaging, and closing new clients across mid-market and enterprise segments. The ideal candidate should be proactive in prospecting, comfortable with field meetings, and skilled in building relationships with HR decision-makers to position HR technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new client acquisition by identifying and prospecting potential customers through field visits, networking, referrals, and outbound outreach.
  • Generate and manage a strong sales pipeline by targeting HR Heads, CHROs, Talent Leaders, and business decision-makers.
  • Conduct in-person meetings, product presentations, and solution discussions with prospective clients.
  • Understand client HR processes and challenges and position HR Tech / SaaS solutions to address business needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to proposal discussions and deal closure.
  • Work closely with pre-sales and product teams to deliver tailored product demonstrations and solutions.
  • Track opportunities, meetings, and sales activities using CRM tools and maintain accurate pipeline forecasts.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual new business revenue targets.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging HR technology needs.

Key Requirements:

  • 23 years of experience in B2B SaaS / HR Tech field sales or business development.
  • Proven track record in hunter-style sales and new logo acquisition.
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to conduct client meetings, product demos, and solution presentations independently.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for customer meetings.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.

Preferred:

  • Experience selling HRMS, ATS, payroll, employee engagement, or HR automation platforms.
  • Exposure to mid-market or enterprise HR stakeholders.
